Workshop Description:
- Learn about the history and relevance of the worldwide laughter club movement
- Learn about the scientific research supporting the numerous healing benefits of laughter
- Participants will experience a typical therapeutic laughter session including a “laughter meditation”
- An overview of applications for Social Work and allied helping professions will be discussed-
Active Seniors, Alzheimer’s, Cancer and Cardiac patients, Mental Health settings, Schools, etc.
Come experience the joy with Blue Skies, CCH, Inc. and Garden Plaza. Helen and Craig Whitley are Certified Laughter Yoga Teachers. Helen is also a licensed clinical social worker in full-time private practice. Craig Whitley is a happiness coach, certified hypnotherapist and an entertaining speaker.
