an exploration of the impact of the effects of war

Leila Levinson, author of “Gated Grief”, the Daughter of a Concentration Camp Liberator Discovers a Legacy of Trauma

We will
1. address the social dimensions of war, military and combat experiences and trauma as a social and community wound.
2. describe the intergenerational impact of war
3. examine the implications for families and mental health professionals
4. formulate healing interventions that interrupt the cycle of suffering from the effects of war
